Invocation to the Muses

“Sing to me of the boy, Muse, the boy of tenacity and curiosity,

lead astray from his intentions, once he had begun his endeavor

of learning the major chords on the guitar.

Many videos of guidance he pondered to learn of the invaluable

patience necessary, heartsick for a break, striving to make time for guitar

lessons in his life as he was left no time between tennis and academics.

But he could not surmount his own stubbornness, hard as he tried —

his lack of incentives drained his motivation as he foolishly procrastinated,

the days passing by with diminishing amounts of time to achieve his goal,

and Aion, God of Time, offered no assistance.

Commence his story, Muse, daughter of Zeus,

Start from where his desperation to succeed — sing for our time, too.”
