Flag Football Example

DIRECTIONS: For this assignment, you and a partner will fill out the concept map
by listing at least 4 critical features or teaching cues for each Flag Football skill.
Then, you will write a complete sentence explaining when you would use the skill
during a game. You may use the Flag Football Lecture slides or videos from the
Resource page as a reference. Your critical features MUST be in your own words
(DO NOT copy word for word from the lecture slides or videos) or create a
teaching cue that best represents the movement.
CONCEPT MAP:

Reach arms towards ball and palms face out.

“Triangle”- Form triangle with thumbs and index fingers.

Receiving a Football

“Cushion”- Catch ball with the hands and pull into the
body.

Passes above the chest, thumbs together; passes

below the waist, pinkies together.

Sentence: In flag football, you receive/catch a football when the quarterback

throws the ball to a receiver and attempts to get to the end zone.
