Parent Communication

Class Dojo provides an interactive tool for parents to be a part of the classroom and to
enhance communication. While Class Dojo main focus is points, it also provides an online
social media system, similar to a Facebook, that lets parents see what’s happening in class
during the day. Teachers can share pictures, activities, and announcements to all the parents
logged into Class Dojo. Parents can then like, comment, and view what is happening in the
class. Parents can also see their individual child’s points and see what points have been
earned or taken away. This allows parents to keep a closer watch on their students behavior
in the classroom. Further, Class Dojo has a messaging system that also resembles
Facebook’s which allows teachers to send out group messages or for parents to
communicate with teachers using a different and more easier platform. Class Dojo really
works to enhance parent teacher communication to a whole new level.
