My experience for customer service and leadership roles make me an ideal candidate for
the position of an assistant for the editing department. Harper Collins Publishing House has a
high reputation for producing excellent books and I know that with the combination of my
editing skills, technological skills, experience and motivation to excel, I will be an asset to the
editing department at Harpercollins.

My experience volunteering for the hospital has made me to have patience for other
people and has taught me the value of gaining the knowledge of customer service. In the
Association of Premedical Students club, I was recognized for being organized and for being
responsible. I also have written articles for my church and have edited research papers.I know
that these skills will benefit the authors at Harper Collins and continue to improve as I learn from
my colleagues. I have also had the opportunity to work at Rowan Orthodontics this past summer.
I worked as a receptionist and helped manage the waiting room. I also helped patients with
payments and made their upcoming appointments. From working there I have gained the skills of
answering the phone correctly and being more communicative.
