To Whom It May Concern;

It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Star Kail. Star is currently a student in my Health/Family Living
class at Merced High School. I have known her since August 2017. As a student, Star consistently demonstrates
qualities that will enable her to be successful. She maintains a good attendance record; she is attentive and follows
directions. She completes all assignments in a timely manner. Star works well on both individual and group projects,
working effectively and cooperatively with fellow students. She consistently participates in class and expresses herself
well in both writing and speaking.

Star has been involved in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities while at Merced High.
She was in the choir the first two years. She would have continued to be involved but the course was discontinued.
She was a member of the swim team in her sophomore and junior years. The swim team took CCC championship
during this time. She was involved with FFA during her sophomore year, earning her Greenhand FFA award which
requires the member to meet specific requirements including a Code of Ethics. Star has also been actively involved in
her church youth group including community service events such as feeding the homeless.

Star plans to pursue a degree in psychology and sociology. She is a hardworking, respectful and ambitious young
woman. She has compassion and a genuine personality. These character traits will serve her well as she pursues her
