I have known Christy for two years. Christy was enrolled in my Advanced Placement Biology class. Christy is intelligent, determined and a leader among her peers. Christy's strength is her determination to excel. She is a senior currently enrolled in a rigorous course load that includes AP Physics, AP English and AP Statistics. She maintains a 4.0 GPA and continues to study hard and try new ways to improve her learning. During class, Christy engages in class discussions and performs lab procedures with diligence and accuracy. She is consistently prepared and therefore confident when analyzing data and making critical decisions in the lab. Her ability to prepare, perform, and ultimately excel is impressive Cristy has also been an integral part of the Merced High school culture. Her biggest contribution is her leadership through the Association of Pre-Medical Students, In four years, Christy revived this club by increasing member participation and therefore establishing a school presence.
