As the Mentor of Syamsidar Murad I am pleased to recommend and to write this

letter on his behalf for his Sandwich Like Program in Northern Illinois University
conducted from September to December 2010.

I have read and give some feedback and improve the dissertation proposal titled
“Social Class Differentiation Language Styles and Abilities in Kendari Southeast
Sulawesi (a Sociological Perspective)” and recommends that the proposal is
feasible to proceed into the dissertation research.

I expect that the topic of the research could provide important information in the
field of sociolinguistics, especially related to social stratification.
