KUALA LUMPUR: Three armed men took advantage of the long festival
holidays to rob a jewellery store in a shopping mall. It took them just five
minutes to get away with half a million worth of gold items. Although the
alarm went off, it did not prevent them from completing their mission.

According to Chief Inspector Zainal Abidin, two of the robbers used


hammers to smash the glass showcases before stuffing the jewellery into
their knapsacks, while another one kept watch outside the shop. There
were no security guards as they had taken the day off to celebrate Hari
Raya Aidilfitri.

“We have retrieved the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and


further investigation is going on,” the chief inspector added. Unfortunately,
the robbers could not be identified because they were wearing helmets
with tinted visors the whole time.

It is believed that the robbers fled on motorcycles parked outside the


mall. They have been on the run ever since. The police urged anyone with
information regarding the robbery to come forward.

just finished their Physical Education lesson. Anita sat at her place as usual.
After a while, she seemed a bit worried. She noticed that her purse went
missing. She looked for it everywhere; in her desk, in her schoolbag and
even in her tracksuit bottoms that she had on just now.

“What’s wrong, Anita? What are you looking for?” asked Lily, her
friend who was sitting next to her table.

“My purse! I can’t seem to find it,” Anita said, almost in tears.

“Fiona was still here when everybody had left to the field earlier.
Maybe she saw your purse somewhere” said Lily.

“Fiona, did you take my purse? I left it on my desk this morning,


before the P.E lesson,” Anita blurted out. Everyone in the class looked at
