Play a chromatic scale covering the practical range of your instrument according to the All-State instructions. 4, Play from memory the following harmonic minor scales in an pattern, slurred, quarter =120, one octave, Concert Bb, F, C, G, D, A. 5. Demonstrate ability to prepare a selected musical exercise with attention to all musical detail. 6, Participate in a solo or ensemble of at least grade UII difficulty for public and/or District Concert performance by the Senior year. 7, Perform accurately a sightreading selection to the Directors! satisfaction. 8. Pass with a minimum score of 90% on the written test given at the end of the first semester. PERCUSSION REQUIREMENTS Omit #5 above |.
