LESSON INFORMATION
Grade Level: 10-11th grade History/Geography
GOAL: Familiarity with key geographic locations in the Pacific Ocean.
OBJECTIVE: Students will know the relative locations of at least 5 key locations related
to World War II history.
STANDARDS:
ISTE 3. Knowledge Constructor - Students critically curate a variety of resources
using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make
meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.
MI SS USHG 7.2.1 Causes of WWII – Analyze the factors contributing to World
War II in Europe and the Pacific region, and America’s entry into war.
MI SS USHG 7.2.2 U.S. and the Course of WWII – Evaluate the role of the U.S.
in fighting the war militarily, diplomatically, and technologically across the world.
