Students are weak in mastering music notation during the
teaching and learning process. This will cause the student
cannot proceed to the next level. This research aimed at helping students to master music notation effectively. This research was conducted to ensure that students are not left behind in the Music Education subject. The method used in this study make a match. This research participants consisted of 22 students year three, in one of the schools in the state of Perlis. The data of this research were obtained from the evaluation test, structured observation and questionnaire that was implemented in the teaching and learning process. The data then analyzed using Microsoft Word 2013, Microsoft Excel 2013 software as well as manually analyzed.
