The FG series has always been a showcase for some of Yamaha’s finest craftsmanship. And that’s
especially true with the new FG502 and FG502M. Both instruments are all solid guitars with back and
sides of solid mahogany while tops are of solid spruce (FG502) or solid mahogany (FG502M). All instru-
ments in the FG Series offer extraordinary beauty and tone delivering sparkling highs and fat lows with
excellent projection. Necks are sculpted to provide smooth fretting, exceptional playability and excellent
intonation. Crafted with dedication and skill, these are instruments worthy of the Yamaha name.
