‘To Whom It May Concern:
Rachelle Kuttle joined the Morgan staff as a long-term substitute in September of 2017. She took an.
empty classroom and turned it into a cozy learning environment, where students are aware of the high
expectations and strive to meet them each day.
I was impressed with Rachelle’s ability to take command of the grade level content, seeking help where
needed from colleagues in her grade level and throughout the building, forming friendships on the staff
quickly as she worked together with other teachers. She also formed strong relationships with each of het
students, inspiring them to strive to their best ability and meet the individual goals they set with Miss
Kurrle for academic and organizational performance.
Students in Rachelle’s classroom can run the class without prompts from their teacher as the routines and
respect fot each other was established ea:ly and nurtured throughout the school yeat. Students leave
positive messages for each other and for their teacher on a regular basis. Miss Kurrle responds to theit
‘messages with her own encouragement and praise on her students’ achievements,
Rachelle set up a Remind 101 account to communicate frequently with parents. She met with each
parent, some more than once, to build a working relationship between students, parents and herself. She
hosted a cultural celebration around the holiday seasons, inviting parents to participate and join. I have
had several positive emails from parents about Miss Kurrle, asking to keep het in place throughout the
school year as their children enjoy the class as they are working on academics.
Students in Rachelle’s classroom receive Tier II and Tier III instruction through individual goal setting,
small group instruction and one-to-one instruction. She works closely with individual students, setting up
positive behavior incentives, and academic goals. She tutors several students after school to help them
continue to achieve or work on organization of materials.
I would highly recommend Rachelle Kurtle as a part of your district and school community. She is a
confident, patient, strong educator, who builds lasting relationships with her students, inspizing them to
achieve that their greatest potential and treat others with the respect and fairness that they would expect
for themselves. I would be happy to speak with your further about Rachelle’s experience at Morgan
Elementary and can be reached through the contact information provided below. I sincerely hope you
consider Rachelle, as she is a natural educator who will be an asset to any building,
jincerely,
