Introduction

Business Overview

We are running a bookstore. Our company is name as A.S Pte Ltd. A.S is a
combination of name of the owners’ partnership who are Abu and Suresh. Hence, the book
store will be name as A.S Book Store.

We had a logo as the icon and symbol of the book store. It is to make attract and
creating awareness to the customer. It also one way of a marketing for the company. Our
book store has a slogan of ‘Pay Less for Knowledge’. Its means that our book store offer a
low price which is affordable for everyone. Financial problem is not a reason to not purchase
a book because we also accept ‘1 Malaysia Book Voucher’.

Our bookstore is located in Pekan, Pahang. It is a business strategy to open in this

town as there are a lot of school surrounding. There are also universities and colleges in
Pekan. Our bookstore has start its operation since 1/1/2018. Our target market is obviously
the student in the town.

We sell all type of books such as reference, exercise books and many others for the
students. We also have a printing service and also sell stationery. In addition, we also add
binding, laminate and prepaid services. We add this services to attract student to come to the
bookstore. So they can come to our bookstore to purchase all their needs in one stop.
