I am writing this letter in support of Maria De La Cruz. I have know Maria first as a student in
my Earth Science class last year, and now as a member in one of my clubs on campus. Maria is bright
student. She works hard and is very optimistic. She is driven to succeed in her goals of going to college,
which she will be the first person in her family to do. Maria has a great personality and and works well
with others.
Maria is also very involved on our campus. She is involved with PALS and assists with the
Special Ed students at our school. I know she does an excellent job there, and is very supportive and
caring. These skills and her compassion will no doubt help her be very successful in her future
endeavors. I hope that you will consider Maria based on my recommendation.
