Artist: Mo Willems

Description: After reading the book Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus students will complete a
Mo Willems instructed drawing of the pigeon and give it a positive or encouraging note and
place it somewhere where many people will see. (Can also be done with sidewalk chalk).
Materials:
 Paper
 Colored pencils/crayons
 Mo Willems video on how to draw the pigeon
Objective: Students will be able to spread words of encouragement through their drawing.
