Offshore Discovery Proves 300 MMbl Of Oil At East Java Well
Jakarta-based Saka Energi Indonesia announced an offshore oil discovery in the Ujung Pangkah
Block in East Java, Indonesia. According to the company, the discovery proved 300 MMbbl of oil
at exploration well #4V-Sidayu. The discovery confirms a field extension after the 2015
discovery at #3ST1-Si-dayu in Tuban, Kujung-1 and Ngimbang formations in the Sidayu
structure. The company plans additional testing and field development.

Bakken Producer Flows 3.895 Mbbl Of Oil, 9.651 MMcf Of Gas Per Day
In McKenzie County, N.D., Stavanger-based Statoil completed an extended-reach horizontal
Bakken producer that initially flowed 3.895 Mbbl of 45.6-degree-gravity oil, 9.651 MMcf of gas
and 3.37 Mbbl of water per day. Located in Section 8-152n-98w, #8-5-7H Richard is producing
from a horizontal Middle Bakken lateral extending from 11,451 ft north-westward to 21,943 ft,
11,202 ft true vertical, and it bottomed in Section 5-152n-98w. Following 51-stage fracturing, it
was tested on a 46/64-in. choke. The new producer was drilled from a common drillpad on
which Statoil has completed 12 other horizontal Bakken/Three Forks tests.

Scoop Play-Woodford Completion By Vitruvian II
The Woodlands, Texas-based Vitruvian II Exploration has completed a Scoop play-Woodford
producer that flowed 18.6 MMcf of gas, 377 bbl of 56-degree-gravity condensate and 1.654
Mbbl of water per day. The #1-27X26H Anita Fowler is in Section 22-4n-6w of Grady County,
Okla. It was tested on a 32/64-in. choke. Production is from acidized and fracture-stimulated
perforations at 14,727-20,677 ft. The 20,902 ft-well was drilled to the southeast and bottomed
in Section 26-4n-6w.
