As an aspiring software engineer, I am applying for an entry level position with your company,
Google. I have an extensive background in computer programming that I think qualifies me
perfectly for this position.

I have always been passionate about programming, and I will bring this passion with me to the
workplace. In both personal projects and school courses, my passion drives me to do my best, and
at Google this will be no different. I plan on attending further courses at U.C. Merced to better my
programming knowledge, however I have already taken every computer programming course at
my high school, even going so far as to enroll in extraneous courses online, such as on Udemy. I
think it is this outstanding drive that makes me perfect for working with Google.

As a child, stepping foot on the Googleplex for a field trip showed me the possibilities that my
hobby could lead to - and I feel that since visiting your offices, I became much more passionate for
sofware engineering. It’s for this reason that I am applying to you rather than any other company -
the experiences I gained from your offices were a major factor in my pursuit of this career, so you
could call a position at Google a dream job.
