As an experienced cashier and server, I am applying for an entry level for your restaurant. My
background in the areas of customer service and handling transactions would make me a great
asset to your company.

Giving others customer service is a major focus of my present position as a Merced High School
cafeteria cashier. I would like to put my customer service experience to work for you. Being an
employee of your company, I would only improve your company and give nothing but my hardest
work for you.

My goal is to further my education at California State University, Fresno. I plan to major in Liberal
Studies and obtain my teaching credential after I complete my four-year bachelor’s program. While
I am working towards accomplishing my goal, I plan on working part-time. Again, being part of
your company will give me a great opportunity for me to take on a new challenge while fulfilling
my commitment to customer service.
