2017 OPM Work-Life Survey Results:

Building and Sustaining Workforce

The results of the 2017 Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Work-

Life Survey are in! The survey highlights Treasury's work-life program
outcomes, satisfaction, participation, and employees' perceptions of
work-life support.  The programs covered in the survey were: Telework,
Work Schedule Flexibilities, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Family
& Dependent Care Programs, and Worksite Health & Wellness
Programs.

The report reveals the top programs Treasury-wide are Telework, Work
Schedule Flexibilities and Employee Assistance Programs, which is
consistent with the 2017 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS)

In addition to highlighting the top programs, the Work-Life Survey

results helps determine which programs require better advertising,
further evaluation, increased visibility, and marketing of available
benefits and services. Services in this category included our Health and
Wellness Programs, Family and Dependent Care Services, Nursing
Mothers Program (Lactation) and non-counseling services through the
EAP.

Treasury desires to bring increased awareness to the work-life benefits

and services it offers, and employee feedback such as the Work-Life
Survey is fundamental in hearing and meeting the needs of our
workforce.  Many of the programs and services specifically requested in
this year's survey are already available at no additional cost to our
employees!
