To Whom It May Concern;

It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Makalynn Christman. Makalynn is currently a student in my
Child Development class at Merced High School. I have known her since August 2017. As a student, Makalynn
consistently demonstrates qualities that will enable her to be successful. She maintains a good attendance
record; she is attentive and follows directions. She completes all assignments in a timely manner. Makalynn
works well on both individual and group projects, working effectively and cooperatively with fellow students. She
participates in class and expresses herself well in both writing and speaking.

Makalynn has maintained a 3.5 GPA through high school. Makalynn has been in the National Arts Honor Society
for two years. She has also been in FFA for three of four years. Makalynn has earned multiple awards and honors
including a business award, Student of the Year, a two time winner of the First Place Art Award and an FFA
scholarship. Makalynn has served her community through assisting at the Chowchilla Family Worship Center and
the Chowchilla Wrestling for a total of 60 hours.

Makalynn is passionate about art and plans to pursue a career related to visual art and animation. She enjoys
painting in her free time allowing her to develop her techniques. Makalynn has been working the last few months
at a local retailer. This has helped her to develop time management and organization skills.

Overall, Makalynn is a positive and hard-working young lady. As a first generation college student in her family
she is dedicated and focused on her post secondary education. She is responsible and determined. These
character traits will serve her well as she pursues her college education and future career. If you have any
questions, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Tammie L Meyer
