Corrosion Control

Above ground components, including piping, equipment, and structures, will be

coated; however, paint colors of facilities will be selected with regard to
compatibility with surrounding facilities.
Piping to be insulated will only require a prime coating. No internal coating of
piping or piping components is required.
The existing Cathodic Protection (CP) system will be supplemented as required
with new or replacement components (e.g. rectifiers, groundbeds). CP shall
be applied to all buried high-pressure pipeline components including the
respective section of temporarily suspended NPS 24 TMPL pipeline.
