All students required to write a poem of any type representing the theme NO PLACE FOR HATE!

Requirements:

1. One to three students in a group, all members must participate and perform.
2. Poem - 2 minutes, memorized, any type (lyric, narrative, free verse, sonnet, etc.)
3. Dramatic presentation.
4. Represents theme: No Place For Hate: Diversity, Friendship, Acceptance, and Tolerance.
5. No inappropriate language.
6. Submit for hard copy or online copy for approval.
7. Join No Place For Hate Edmodo group
8. All poems due April 25 hard copies or online copies.
9. April 25 Presentation of poems in class. Winners selected.
10. Winners present at school poetry slam on May 2nd after school in media center for prizes and
recognition.
11. Quiz grade up to 90 if submitted but not performed and meets with approval.
12. Quiz grade up to 100 if submitted and performed for class and meets with approval.
