Dear Professor Waddington,

My name is Caitlin Lopez and I am an Account Executive for Titan Public Relations, a student-
run firm at California State University, Fullerton. I wanted to reach out to you about our event on
campus, Communications Week. Communications Week is an event featuring guest alumni
speakers from different fields of Communications (Non-profit, Crisis Communications,
Advertising) to share their experience. In the past, we have invited alumni from companies like
OC Register, ESPN, Washington Post, and Taco Bell Headquarters to speak about their
experience working in the field. This event is open to all majors and the public. Cal State
Fullerton has been hosting COMM Week since 1978 making this year the 40th anniversary.

This would be beneficial to students who are interested in Communications or prospective

students to come and learn more about the field of Communications and what our campus has to
offer. Students will have the opportunity to explore the fields of Communications and network
with alumni, guest speakers, and students on campus. By attending COMM Week, students can
get a more in depth understanding for the communications field. COMM week is from Monday,
April 23rd to Thursday, April 26th this year.

Most of the events will be held at the main campus in Fullerton; however there will be some
events at the Irvine campus. We strongly encourage students to attend the event if they are
interested in the Communications field and want to learn more about California State University,
Fullerton. If possible, we would like to come and outreach to your class in person. Please let me
