Hull
One of the east coast’s fastest growing and dynamic cities, Hull City of Culture 2017 has plenty to offer everyone.
It boasts a varied and exciting shopping experience - the glass covered Princes Quay and the St Stephen’s
Shopping Centre. Here you will find a range of high street retailers and some specialist shops for that exclusive
touch.
Immerse your imagination and discover the wonders of the world's oceans - visit The Deep. Marvel at the
assortment of marine life from small and colourful exotic fish to fully grown sharks. A fun and educational day out
is promised.
Into sports? Rugby League is represented with two first class teams, Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers. A visit to
the KC Stadium will bring you up close to the ‘Tigers’, a Premier League football team. There is also cricket, golf,
angling, power-boat racing and sailing in the City and many indoor leisure pursuits that include Northern
England's first Olympic standard Ice Arena!
Hull's museums and art galleries offer an insight into the pioneering spirit of the people and heritage of Hull. Most
of Hull’s museums have free entrance, so generally your curiosity won’t cost you a penny.

Grimsby
As soon as you step off the bus at the Riverhead Exchange, Grimsby's Freshney Place greets you, Lincolnshire's
premier shopping centre. With over 100 retailers all undercover and on one level!
Let the Fishing Heritage Centre take you to the edge of disaster and to the extremes of the elements to witness
first-hand the depths of human endurance. Grimsby also has an array of architectural treasures. The church of
St James dates back to the 1100s, and you can take a tour around the imposing Victorian Town Hall. Visit the
Time Trap Museum, housed in the depths of the old prison cells!
Why not visit Waltham Windmill on the outskirts of Grimsby but on a well run and frequent bus service. Here you
will see the majestic windmill standing proud and visible for miles around. With a lovely picnic area, miniature
railway and the acclaimed rural life museum all set in a picturesque rural setting you are sure to have a great
family day out!

Cleethorpes
In 2012 Cleethorpes recieved a gold award in East Midlands in Bloom, this coupled with the prestigious Blue Flag
award for clean beaches, makes this a quaint and safe seaside town ideal for all the family. The kids will love
the promenade with plenty of arcade games and Laser Quest Adventure a live action laser game played in a
multi level arena. Take a trek in the Jungle Zoo and experience the sights, sounds and smells of a tropical
paradise! The Meridian Point retail park is a must with a six screen cinema, Play Towers for toddlers and an
excellent health spa and fitness club.
If its excitement you want try Pleasure Island theme park. Blast off at 50 mph and do a 360° loop on the
boomerang. The resorts two crazy golf courses are great fun and will have you laughing for hours. If it's the real
McCoy you want Cleethorpes Golf club has all the facilities you would expect from a well run and kept course.
Keen angler? Cleethorpes Boating Lake allows fishing in the northern end of the lake. There is also a fab Ten Pin
Bowling Alley, great fun for the whole family. Cleethorpes promises you and your family a great day out full of
fun and action.
