Focused Skill: Listening & Speaking

Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

1. identify 6 words with given phonemes.

2. identify 3 words with given phonemes. (LINUS)

Activities:

1. Teacher recalls the previous lessons about phonemes with the letters in the letter box.
2. Teacher demonstrates how to play the game.

3. Pupils are divided into small groups (3 persons in a group).

4. Each group is given a letter box with letter cards inside and a coin.
5. Pupils play the game, taking turns to throw the coin and sound the letters and say some words.
6. Pupils are given pictures as guidance while doing the task. (LINUS)

7. Teacher shows a letter card and asks the pupils to say the words with the given phonemes.
8. Pupils listen to the teacher and circle the words mentioned in the worksheets given. (LINUS)
