Moon Energy

Today's topic is Moon Energy. A few decades ago, the search for clean energy was "green."
Now, it is a necessity. Do not forget that the Earth is in an energy crisis, and some experts are
looking beyond the terrestrial elements to find a long-term solution. Some scientists are turning
to the moon.

For more than 20 years, the Japanese corporation Shimizu has dedicated itself to studying the
moon as a new source of energy. Nowadays, the corporation intends to start the construction of
its project called Luna Ring. This consists of a belt of solar panels installed around the equator
of the Moon, where the constant solar radiation is obtained and the transformation in electricity
that will accumulate on the visible side of the satellite. There it will become a microwave, and
the laser beams will transmit it to Earth. That is incredible!

In addition, it is important to remember that the construction of the moon ring will use existing
materials on the Moon, collected by robots and vehicles controlled from Earth.

On the other hand, engineers at the University of Wisconsin discovered that the Moon had a lot
of helium-3, a very stable isotope, not radioactive, that could solve some of the problems that
the progress of nuclear fusion has. That surprising!

By 2070, this clean and inexhaustible source will have replaced oil as a source of energy
because there are ten times more energy on the Moon than is ever in the form of fossil fuels on
Earth.
