RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

Prezi can be easily described as a fancier power point. It is much better than a regular google slide or a power point doe using the
Microsoft software such as Word, etc. a lot of college professors use it when giving lectures and having the class get involved. It is
simple when it comes to presenting new things to students and honest easy to follow along to.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students’ presentation/speaking/communication skills?

It will help with student’s presentations because it is easy to use as I stated in the description. It is one of those things that when
you see it, you feel as if you got it right from the jump. Nothing about it is difficult and it is simple enough that a kindergartener
could follow along to it. The way the movement of it goes when jumping from one topic to another is fun to see as well. Prezi
helps with speaking because it makes it not such a hard thing for the student to do. It is kind of like having the words written
down on a piece of paper for you but not physically in your hand. This helps with their communication skills because they are not
being forced to read something and never look up or interact. This way they have to click the clicker when they are moving on to
a new slid/topic and actually engage the class then just try to give a speech and be done.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

I like Prezi a lot so I give it a three. From my own preference, I feel like since more teachers use it and like it as well that it is a
pretty cool app to use. It is focused on student environment since it is all about the student and getting them to learn through this
power point. Students to me feel more engaged with Prezi than just a regular boring old power point. Prezi has more to add to it
than just the basics.
