I am writing with regard to the Council’s recent installation of no-parking sign in
our area. Briefly, the problem is that people cannot see the no-parking sign because it is in a wrong place. I have recently parked my car near where I work as I usually do, so I thought it was legal. When I returned to my car after work, I found a parking fine. At that moment, I realized that the no-parking sign was behind a tree. It was very negligent to have put it in that place. I have already persuaded this matter with the local police department, who have advised me to contact you. In order to resolve this matter I am requesting that you cancel my parking fine. Please contact me within twelve days of this letter to confirm that these steps have been taken. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Yours faithfully, Patrick Rodriguez
