Story IX
In this story tom and Jim are the partner of meat shop and they want to kill a good man named

Wil Maxie who is the owner of cotton and corn field. Though in this story there is no mention

about the main reason for wanted to killing a good man but I think that the main reason behind

for wanted to killing this person that he is a negro and peoples who lived in this particular area

don’t like negro. In this story I think Tom and Jim both are protagonist. I think this story is fall

under the term historical fiction. This story runs by for one reason is that to kill Wil Maxie so this

story has not any plot twist and for that this story have no uses situational irony.

Story X
In this story here have a garden where boys usually want to play in the garden but the owner (Mr.

Thomas) don’t let them permit to play in the garden. One day they were planning for something

which bring big losses for Mr. Thomas. And also, the gang were succeeding with their playing at

last. Here I think the character T. is the protagonist who lead the group when they run their

planning. Though their have mixed leadership between the character Blackie and T. Here I see a

plot twist when T said to all of his group member that we don’t steal anything from this house

because we are not thieves. But I think every reader might think that they went to the house for

thieving. This story is a horror fiction that I think. Because it seems could be a realistic.

Moreover, I don’t think that this story is not a fable. Because it has no strong moral.
