The first story is a serious story where we do not see a single funny act in whole story. From my

point of view the story is a bit slow because one fourth of the part actually includes the

introduction of the character and mostly description about the whole environment of the shop. If

I have to specify a protagonist here I will choose Will Maxie who is a very good person and in

my point of view he is the hero of the story. On the other hand, Tom is the antagonist here. In the

whole story the writer used some dialect and I also think that the use of proper words according

to rules was missing in the whole story.

The second story actually a light story. When I was reading the story, I did not feel that I am

reading a story rather I thought that I am reading about my childhood. I think most of us did

similar incident in our childhood. All the children play the protagonist role here and the old man

plays as antagonist. When the old man came back home the children got afraid about that. This

was a plot twist. I really like the story because it connects me with my childhood.
