The first story is all about a doctor who is feeling guilty because of an incident which actually

happened with his maid. The doctor is not directly responsible for the incident but he thinks that

he solely responsible for this. I think that the story is well written and the whole story and the

unhappy ending makes the story attractive to the reader. The similar incidents may take place in

our surroundings because of which I think that it falls under realism. The doctor is the

protagonist here because he is the one who is suffering. The groom is the main reason behind the

sufferings of the doctor because of which I think he plays the antagonist role. It is a narrative

story and it falls under first person narrative because the victim narrates the whole story here.

When the doctor see that the maid got raped, this incident falls under falling action

In the second story the priest is the protagonist. On the other hand, the system which gives

punishment to the priest is the antagonist. The story falls under realism. I did not support this

kind of punishment because of which I did not like the whole story at all. It can create negative

impact on the mid of the readers.
