I the first scene a person wearing black and having a gentle voice wanted to meet TRISSOTIN and was
eagerly waiting. Then he gave the permission to LEPINE to send him inside. He also knows Greek as he
was a great scholar. There was a little conversation between TRISSOTIN and man who came to visit him
and his name was VADIUS for a sonnet. That sonnet was written by TRISOTTIN. Then after that
PHILAMINTE told her daughter to get married. There was a conversation between ARMANDE and
HENRITTE where ARMANDE was praising her mother choice for selecting a decent and wise guy for her
sister. And after that CHRYSALE told HERITTE to hold that boys hand to marry but she was arguing that
she will marry her father choice.

In ACT 4, there was betray of love. Here ARMANDE criticize CLITRANDE for some reason. After than
CLITRANDE wanted to know that reason. In reply to CLITRANDE, she told that she had cheat on
ARMANDE by falling with love with HENRITTE instead of her. There was an arrival of letter in that scene
which informs that TRISOTTIN is mad for money. But after all this the wedding was conducted.

In the ACT 5, HENRITTE requested TRISOTTIN not to marry her and also begged him in private. But he
told that he is in love with her. In this scene there were also a shocking announcement for that family
that there were financially becoming weak. After knowing that TRISOTIN came out of marriage and
confessed that he only wanted to marry her because of money. Than everyone saw the true color of
TRISOTTIN and after that HENRITTE got married with CLITANDRE.
