Associate Teachers should approach this assessment based on reasonable expectations for a Teacher Candidate at this particular point in her/his B.Ed./Dip.Ed. year. During her time with us she was responsible for moming carpet time each day, lead small quided groups in Sound Skills, conducted an inquiry (making ‘Sime’), and created a collaborative math wall hat involved all of our students. She took the time to get to know each of our students and consistently made an effort to plan learning activities they would enjoy (eg. [bringing in locks and keys to help some of our busy, hands-on learners practice number recognition). She kept detailed notes and regularly charted student progress towards lgoals. She was especially good at tracking Sound Skills data and kept clear records of student knowiedga, growth and next steps. Page 3 of 4 ‘Comments: Miss Warland has been an asset to our classroom over the past six weeks. She quickly developed a positive rapport with our students, EA and ECE and has become a trusted and dependable member of our teaching team. Miss Warland is fiendly, reliable and fun to work with. She is competent, self-directed and not afraid to venture outside of her comfort zone. Mandy volunteered to help me coach the senior girs volleyball team (despite being inexperienced in the sport) and has done an exceptional job. She has given up her lunch hours and many evenings to attend practices and games and is well iked and respected by our players. Miss Warland is also kind and inclusive. She has been very caring and helpful with our kindergarten students, including those with special needs. Mandy is a good sport with a {good sense of humour who was well liked and fi in with our staf. Sho was consistently professional, positive and feliable. We have enjoyed working with her over the past six weeks and wish her allthe best. She will be an asset to a lucky schoo! in the future!
