Dear Human Resources Professional:

I am contacting you with interest in the new graduate nurse residency program that is offered at
Tampa General Hospital. I am currently a nursing student at the University of South Florida
graduating in May 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. I am expected to take
my NCLEX examination in June 2018. I have always been interested in working as an RN at
Tampa General.

During my clinical rotations as a nursing student I was able to experience a myriad of units and
practice my nursing assessments, skills, and documentation in the clinical setting. My
experiences in the clinical setting include providing nursing care on units such as oncology,
pediatric intensive care, and the emergency department where I found never ending learning
opportunities and discovered a love for emergency nursing.

Beginning my nursing career at Tampa General Hospital would allow me to grow immensely in
my nursing knowledge and skills and I believe that I would be a great resource to your
institution. Thank you for considering me for this amazing hospital and I will follow up
