It is with great anticipation that I am seeking a teaching position within your school district. Enclosed
you will find my resume and application materials for the position. I will be receiving my Bachelor of
Science in Elementary Education PreK-4 and Special Education PreK-8 on May 12, 2018. I have also
passed my Pennsylvania Education Certification Tests (PECT) for both Elementary Education PreK-4
and Special Education PreK-8.

During my student teaching experience and field experience, I worked with students in urban and
rural settings. I have experience teaching whole group, small group and one-on-one instruction to
students. I value individuality, and strive to meet the needs of each student. To accomplish this, I use
a variety of hands-on activities, technology and different teaching strategies to accommodate diverse
learning styles. I have learned the importance of trust and establishing positive relationships with
students. I have also gained invaluable classroom management experience by working so closely with
the classroom teachers and adapting their various management styles to create a unique way that
best suited my teaching style.
