Starting in January, I switched to Second Street Children’s School to a ¾ year old classroom,

because my previous mentor, Sandy, was no longer able to mentor me. Sandy and I formed a
nice bond so I was sad to leave Tucson Community School, but excited to try something new. I
transitioned nicely into the new classroom and community and was very flexible with whatever
was thrown my way. I worked nicely with my new mentor, Tamara and co-teacher, Gretchen. I
learned so much from SSCS and from them and I really enjoyed doing my 20-day takeover
where I made the lesson plans, set up invitations, sent out the weekly newsletter, and did
documentations.
