Create a Microsoft Account (formerly Windows Live ID)

1) Go to https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx
to sign up (formerly known as Windows
Live ID – e.g. @live.com)
2) Fill out the form
• For User Name, it’s best to use your
company e-mail address
3) Click on Create Account
4) You will receive an email confirmation to
the email you have created the Microsoft
account

Validate your MPN Association
To validate if your Microsoft Account is already associated with your Company’s MPN Membership
1) Go to https://partners.microsoft.com
2) Log in using the Microsoft Account (email address that wants to check association)

Associate your Microsoft Account to the MPN ID
Associate your Microsoft Account with your Company’s MPN Membership with the following steps:
1) Go to https://partners.microsoft.com
2) Sign in using a Microsoft Account (formerly Windows Live ID)
If you do not have a Microsoft Account, go to https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx to sign up or follow steps in
“Creating a Microsoft Account” per the Invitation Letter, before proceeding to the next step.
3) Click Associate as an Individual
4) Type your Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) ID (as stated in the Invitation Letter from your PSE).
5) Click Find My Organization
6) Select your organization
7) Click Associate to this Organization
8) Type your company account email address and your name and click Submit.
9) Click Finish. Your request to enroll will now be sent to your organization's administrator for the Microsoft Partner Network
10) You will receive an email stating “We'd like to let you know that your request to associate with a Microsoft Partner Network
member organization (MPN ID #) has been accepted”.
11) If your administrator approves your association, you will receive an email “We'd like to inform you that you've been assigned the
Associated Individual role for your organization's membership”
**Once your organization's administrator has approved your enrollment, you'll have access to resources and information reserved for Microsoft partners. Tip-
The administrator is normally your company’s primary Microsoft program contact. Please ask your Microsoft PSE who the administrator contact is if you are unable
to locate him/her.

Common Troubleshooting Issues
Issue
“Sign in” screen does NOT appear
Cause
This may happen when you have another Microsoft Account cached in your IE Browser cookie history.

Solution
1. Try to open an InPrivate Browsing Window (Ctrl-Shift-P), or shown under Tools in the ribbon.
2. Go to https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/us/pages/solutions/adr-getting-started.aspx

OR…
1. Open in regular browser window
2. Delete the “cookies and website data” in browser history
3. Open new browser and go to https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/us/pages/solutions/adr-getting-started.aspx

If you still don’t have access, you may not have your Microsoft account associated to the MPN account we have on record.
