ABSTRACT

Batako is a building material in the form of alternative brick mold replacement bricks
composed of the composition between the sand, cement, and water, then printed through a
compacting process so that the form of beams with a certain size. Batako is focused as
nonstructural building wall constructions.
Generally, every brick industry after printing, the product is placed in the open and not
treated. So it is not known the quality of the compressive strength of the manufactured brick. Thus,
it will be conducted a study of the differences in the strength of brick tap that treated with batako
that is not treated so that can be known differences in the pressure of brick tiles that are treated
with unmaintained brick.
For comparison of mixture of 1pc: 6ps, at age 3 and 7 days, the strength value of the
treated brick pressure is 4.80 Mpa and 7.77 Mpa or lower 16.25% and 18.15% of the unmade
brick, ages 14 and 21 days the value of compressive strength of the treated brick is 11.94 MPa and
13.87 Mpa or 10.10% higher and 8.13% of the untreated brick. For comparison of mixture of 1pc:
8ps, at age 3 and 7 days, the value of compressive strength of the treated brick is 3.96 Mpa and
6.52 Mpa or lower 18.43% and 19.17% of the unmade brick, age of treatment 14 and 21 days, the
strength value of the masonry press is treated 10.12 Mpa and 11.78 Mpa or 12.20% higher and
11.24% of the untreated brick. For comparison of mixture of 1pc: 10ps, at age 3 and 7 days, the
value of compressive strength of the treated brick is 3.08 Mpa and 5.27 Mpa or 25.32% lower and
20.68% of the untreated brick, while on aged 14 and 21 days of value, the compressive strength of
the treated brick is 8.24 MPa and 9.59 MPa or higher 14.49% and 13.49% of the untreated brick.
At the age of 14 to 21 days, the stronger pressure value of the treated brick is higher than that of
the unmaintained brickwork because the untreated brickwork continues to evaporate so that the
brick is shrunk, this results in a compressive strength value being lowered after the age of more
than 7 days .
