The program I found is The National School Lunch Program — the nation’s second

largest food and nutrition assistance program behind SNAP — makes it possible for all

school children in the United States to receive a nutritious lunch every school day. The

National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is the Nation's second largest food and nutrition

assistance program. Any student in a participating school can get an NSLP lunch

regardless of the student's household income. The NSLP found that good nutrition

decreases aggression and bad behavior which helps students avoid increased discipline in

school. According to The National School Lunch Program, I can use some information

based on this program to design my plan and program. Throughout create a healthy lunch

cafeteria in school, it will bring lots of benefits to school workplace, such as better

behavior, better school performance, better overall cognitive development, more actively

participle in the educational experiences, and teach parents and children good nutrition

and the elements of a proper diet.

In addition, I have some great articles which also can help me design my program.

describe due to the lack of a healthier cafeteria. It is necessary to provide a School

Cafeteria Nutrition Assessment (SCNA) measures to assess food availability in public

school cafeterias. if it is not in a good condition, school cafeterias needs to provide

change in the availability of healthier options.

help student improve their health. Students are having fast food and junk food are scored

worse on their school assessment, which explain nutrition can affect students either

directly or indirectly on the daily performance.

Summary: One study suggested that lunches brought from home may be less nutritionally

sound than lunches provided in schools through the National School Lunch Program.

The nutritional content of the school lunch items was provided by the schools’

foodservice managers and some experts.
