with each other, so what is business ethics and how can this be essential in our life,
decide how to act for it ourselves and what we think is appropriate? "What is a person
It’s our concept of good things that determines our perceptions of and behavior
towards them and even how a culture behaves. The concept of business is associated
with profit and that means a good life: every businessman’s definition of success
before was to maximize the profit but still minimize the cost, the two are like bread
and butter. Everyone of us want to have a good life and that means success; Success is
measured by the capacity to acquire things. Business is a means to a good life, its
simply limited to profit. Expecting that that it will make money for us to pay a happy
life and the common notion that money is the solution to everything. The desire to be
happy is universal, so we should pursue what makes us happy. When I was young, my
parents keep stressing that I should always study hard to be able to go a decent college,
get my degree, land a stable job and be rich to be able to provide a better future for
the coming years and not invest on material things, because we can never predict
where the tide might go, well that’s how I was raise.
The classical view attributed to economist Friedman’s capitalism and freedom
where he wrote that the purpose of business is to use its resources and engage in
activities designed to increase in profit so long as it stays within the rules of the game.
Bowie postulated the neoclassical view offer a more refined concept. He posited that
maximization of profit should be pursued, but that one should avoid inflicting harm in
the process. Freeman, who formulated the stakeholder theory, made a further
refinement that has to protect and promote the rights various stakeholder.
Culture is the product of human creativity and his intellect, where his philosophy
and values develop . Our worldwide view is shaped by culture to a larger extent ,
where culture is socializes and influences people to follow certain patterns of behavior.
Good life is now associated with the standard of living and not the standard of life,it
aspires a life is better with material comfort enjoyed by a person. Is a good life
synonymous to a good wealth? The bottomline is, happiness is a choice maybe half of
the world would feel the fulfillment of a good life with all those physical things and
the other half might be like me that think happiness is when your eating dinner with
your whole family and talking of how your day was. Im not saying this just for the
sake of comparison, but I genuinely think that spending time with your parents and
give back to what they have done for us while they are still around is my goal.
Animal Acts are those acts of man and naturally perform with the use of our
senses. Human acts on the other hand is when you know what you are doing, free and
voluntary act. To consider that the act is a human act, it should be a voluntary act
committed by an individual. The act must also be done with the individual’s
knowledge and consent. The act committed should be considered as an act that is
proper to man as man, in consideration that of all the animals, man alone has the
intellect and the freedom of will to do the act. The act should also be committed in a
conscious state and under the control of the individual in which he/she is
responsible. We have simply shown that some acts are morally good and some are
morally bad; that some ought to be done, and others ought not to be done and we have
examined into the distinction between these two classes of acts, or the nature of
morality. Proceeding further, we are now to show that a Higher Will binds us to
observe the moral law in which consists in doing what is right and avoiding what is
wrong, and holds us accountable for our moral conduct We are moral agents because
of our capacity to reflect on situations. Moral agents have a moral responsibility not to
cause unjustified harm. Agents have the capability to reflect upon their situation, to
form intentions about how they will act, and then to carry out that action. By
expecting people to act as moral agents, we hold people accountable for the harm they
cause others.Normal human adults represent our paradigm case of responsible agents.
What is distinctive about them, that we accord them this status? Thinking of
retrospective responsibility in particular, why can be held accountable for their actions

case of more demanding, the "more responsible" roles, the person can be trusted to
