SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
PROPOSAL
Proposed Activity

The group seeks to conduct a seminar on the basic constitutional rights of every
person under the 1987 Constitution. Specifically, the group aims to implement “Project
BRAD” which was drafted by specific students during the Rule of Law Convention at
PHILJA last _____ (insert date)

The main objective of this project to enhance awareness of basic Human Rights for
the Filipino. The sub-objective aimed to be achieved is to improve local proficiency
among Barangay officials, women, youth and seniors

The main topics to be discussed during the seminar, among others, are:

1. Right against unreasonable searches and seizure;


2. Right against warrantless arrest; and
3. Right to counsel.

Other constitutional rights may also be discussed by the group, depending on the
prior advice of the barangay itself, in order to address the issues which the community
members believe to be relevant in their locality.

The speakers of this seminar will be the group members themselves.

After the seminar, the group will also conduct an hour of legal aid in order to
address other legal concerns of the attendees, whether or not related to the discussion on
basic constitutional rights.
Target Date

The group plans to conduct this activity on April 14 2018, Saturday.


Target Baranggay

The seminar and legal aid will be conducted at Baranggay Queen of Peace.
The group has already obtained the concurrence of Kapt. Macadangdang for the
implementation of these activities.
