My name is Dwaine J. Potts (DJ for short) and I would like to be considered for your professional
training program in the area of sound design. I believe I am a designer with many strengths and some
weaknesses that I hope to improve upon during my tenure at your program, if you would have me. My
major strengths as a designer include script analysis, audio effects research, music research, drafting and
effective communication skills. I am extremely dedicated to every production I lay my hands on. Doing
everything I can to enhance the esthetic of the production so that the best possible product is always
put forth. I am also a firm believer that our works as designers ascends to artwork when you pay
attention to the minute details.

My experiences as a student sound designer at western Michigan University have prepared to work in
varying conditions.
