She has met all the program requirements with exceptional success. Abby is a professional, collaborative, and reflective. If | were a principal, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. She will be a terrific asset to your faculty. The elementary licensure program at the university is time intensive. Abby, unlike other teacher education programs, has experienced an entire year at the school. She has, first hand, experienced teacher-work-week in August. She has felt the importance of establishing an effective management plan at the very beginning of the year, and she knows how to conduct SEP conferences; not to mention everything in between! Having student taught at Backman Elementary, a Title One school in Salt Lake City, Abby has had the opportunity to work with a school that is very culturally and linguistically diverse. Abby is professional is many ways. She attends to detail incredibly well, she plans hands-on, meaningful curriculum, and she attends professional development opportunities. Abby is a lifelong learner and one day | see her as an educational leader in a schoo! setting. During this past year in the cohort, Abby has become a leader among her peers. | have had the pleasure of being one of Abby's university supervisor and | am most impressed with her unending talent and ability to be creative in her instructional approaches. She knows the Utah Core well and writes detailed lesson plans. She is well respected and well- liked by her students. Abby's classroom management is preventative and positive. The students in her third grade classroom have related well to her enthusiasm. If you want an incredibly talented, skilled, dependable teacher, hire Abby. She will be an extraordinary asset to any elementary faculty. She will share her creative ideas with others and she is willing to listen to others' advice.
