Here are the steps for using Wireshark program and the link to download it:

1. Install Wireshark in the computer that you are using to send the data to the SLC.
2. Start Wireshark and wait for it to show a list of Network Interfaces.
3. Select the corresponding interface of your computer that communicates with the
Controllogix and in the filter field enter:

host IP_ADDRESS_OF_Controllogix
(Change IP_ADDRESS_OF_Controllogix with the actual IP address of your Controllogix)
This filter will make wireshark capture only the messages coming from or going to that
IP address.

4. Open the window where you are going to do the burning of the EEPROM. And
commence the process. This will begin to generate traffic.
5. Leave it running for about 2 minutes or until the burn process is completed.
6. Then stop the Wireshark capture (or if you close the Wireshark window, it will ask you
if you want to save the file). Save the capture, compress it and send it to us.
7. And please tell us the IP of your computer and the station number of the SLC, and
the IP address of the Controllogix.
