Area of application
Wire electrode of low-alloyed steel for MAG welding of high strength, tempered fine grain
structural steels. Weld metal for operating temperatures of -50 °C to 450 °C.

Special hints
The mechanical properties are dependent on the shielding gas; optimum weld metal is
achieved under mixed gas M 21 with corresponding welding conditions. Weldable in short arc or
spray arc section. Preheating temperature dependent on base material. Pay attention to controlled
heat input, interpass temperature should not exceed 180°C.
