Good afternoon,

My name is Adam Fox and I am in your English 114-05. I am thirty-two years old and have a
fifteen month old boy at home named Elliott.

This class is very interesting! Considering I worked for a human resource firm for three years
and had no formal training on business correspondence. As the old saying goes, I had to “fake it till I
made it”. As you can probably tell I couldn’t fake it for long and now I am back in school. My goal as a
student is to get my associate degree in emergency medical services. I feel this job will be both exciting
and rewarding. I am looking forward to learning all that I can from this class and applying it to the next
Business related correspondence that I have.
