OUTLINE
TITLE: The disadvantages of DVD Player

Thesis Statement

The main disadvantages of the DVD, however it should be noted that they will be
overcome, surely, with the passage of time.

Body Paragraph 1

Topic sentence 1 : It will be years until movies, TV shows, other types of video and
computer software are widely available. Vagueness of spec and inadequate testing
of players and discs has resulted in incompatibilities. Some movies do not work
completely (or at all) on some players

Topic sentence 2: Most of the films in this format, ranging between 25 and 35
dollars, with sales prices at between 18 and 25 dollars, even those with
supplemental material. Some new releases initially are priceless for rent ($ 80, like
the VHS), others are as little as $ 12.

Conclusión sentence 1: The Poorly compressed audio or video may be blurred,

jazzy, vague, without pieces. Because of the way that the MPEG-2 divides an
image into blocks and transforms them, there may be problems with sharp edges
that are common in the animations. This loss of information can be displayed with
blur

Conclusion sentences 2 : In conclusión; In addition to these drawbacks, which in

the future will be overcome by technological advances, we find the market price of
the DVD, as they are quite expensive. However as demand increases this fall.
Conclusion paragraph

a) Concluding sentence

Finally, Current DVD players and drives can not read DVD-RAM. Very few players
can play at normal speed backwards and variations and options such as DVD-
Audio, DVD-VR, and DTS audio tracks are not supported by all readers.

b) Personal Opinion

I think DVD-ROM is one that complies with the DVD standard, while maintaining
compatibility with CD-ROM and audio CDs. This redefines the computer as a
machine to watch movies with a big screen and the normal things you usually do
on your computer.

c) Recommendation and suggestion

Protecting regional, or also known as "regional codes" or "country codes" refer to

lock codes used to prevent playback of certain discs in certain geographical areas.
Each reader has a code of the area where it is sold. The player will refuse to play
discs that are not allowed in that region. These codes are entirely optional, which
does not involve such a disadvantage.
