Or ES FOREWORD Qur’an forms the core of Islamic way of life and is the‘soul’ (Rooh) ofits teachings. Qur'an is the ‘book of guidance’ and this guidance can be obtained by understanding its meaning . It is a great tragedy that many people are unable to read Holy Qur’an inArabic, comprehending its meaning. Taking cognizance of the present situation, MESCO has decided to teach Arabic language for recitation of Holy Qur’an as the first step, followed by an understanding of Holy Qur’an in a graded manner. MESCO has developed a syllabus for modern. schools which | evolved in the form of a series of books for classes preprimary to Vili | and even for college students and adults. This programme is implemented without any disruption of regular schedules. This book is‘one of the series in which the basic of Tajweed (correct pronunciation of Holy Qur'an), Kalimas and Suplications recited in daily affairs are taught. Teachers are encouraged to inculcate Islamic values, morals, sunnah and good conduct among students. To facilitate better learning, a video CD of the lessons is provided. May Allah make these books helpful for the entire Ummah in learning Holy Qur'an and understanding it. ; Mohammad Ghapasul Salim Reiman § Director, MESCO ALEF . tf Mgt eds oF ble cose eke SN al a ILA Ge WOR I IS “BU SSS UOTINL His ue cel tt EB rw A7 wlurl yee WMeL silo G EE aids 65 tA rie) bie 8S EE dire IEE toda Call cet bni foto ng Ld BUYL wnt et ce ti text Hose the Mofo Soh APP Saced Be Wl UbeiLorwehSie ius And Razul & would say “O my ford (Rub) my people have forsaken the Holy Quran”.
