Standard Information- A complex set of interactions within an ecosystem can keep its

numbers and types of organisms relatively constant over long periods of time under stable

conditions. If a modest biological or physical disturbance to an ecosystem occurs, it may return

to its more or less original status (i.e., the ecosystem is resilient), as opposed to becoming a very

different ecosystem.

The difference between sea turtles and regular turtles is that sea turtles are not able to pull their

legs and heads into their shells. There are seven different types of sea turtle species. Sea turtles

can range from being either green, yellow, or black. Green sea turtles are able to stay under the

water for up to 5 hours. Sea turtles heart raio8te slows when they are underwater. There is not

much information about the behavior of sea turtles since they spend most of their time at sea.

Young sea turtles are completely on their own when they hatch. To teach my class about the

different types of sea turtles and their characteristics, I would show them a video with

information on them. After that video, I would have them fill out a worksheet about true and

false facts about the video they just watched over the sea turtles.
